Every morning his father would come with a laptop and they would do preparation before the rounds start. Once I asked him to join me for breakfast but he said he could not because was waiting for his father (for prep).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So 14 year old ELO 1983 vs the &#8220;Chess Tourist&#8221; ELO 2122. English not very good but we could communicate at the basic level. He even taught me something in Uzbek which even though I don&#8217;t understand but  am sure would offend others \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also I remember not accepting any friendly games versus him in the room, simply because I don&#8217;t want to suffer the mental humiliation losing to a 14 year old. He even challenged me in the pool, the little devil. He was competitive!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Never met him again unfortunately but looking at his ELO history, he hit 2300+ but hasn&#8217;t dropped to 2176. At 21 years old he is now an FIDE master and teaching chess on Udemy. He even has his own YouTube channel.
